Genuine and unaffected musicianship; the production always at service to the folk elements. The compositions are perfectly judged in length and all weave together to create a single, almost symphonic whole. I cannot single out a piece but push come to shove, 'Geamparoles' reminds me of my gateway drug into classically-informed playing: Darryl Way's violin for prog group Curved Air! All players at the top of their game. Flora's vocal contribution on 'La Obreja' cannot be overlooked; absorbing.
